about

Black Castle was the first stop on our first tour and featured the biggest stage we had played on up to that point. The amperage of our nervous excitement drove the tempo up by about twenty percent. Despite issues with the house sound system, the huge space had wonderful natural reverb which gave a ceremonial quality to the mad dance unfolding on stage. Having blitzed through the piece, the band realized that the electric acoustic mandolin, which was supposed to close out the show, was not on stage! Korism ran without explanation to the back while Solipsis improvised a drum solo, and just in time, they count back in and finish the song in epic style. This 'mistake' became a unique extension of an already expansive work and a must have for the collector.
